Siphiwe Mpye is an entrepreneur, editor and writer. With just shy of 20 years in the media, arts and communications, he has developed a diverse skill set and deep insight into how these worlds intersect. He has founded companies in talent entertainment and television production, and 2011, founded Random Window as a vehicle for harnessing his wide experience.

In 2015 he founded, a men’s digital magazine. He was the founding editor of Bl!nk Magazine - Africa’s first independent men’s lifestyle magazine - and was the youngest men’s magazine editor at the time. He went on to GQ South Africa, where he was Associate Editor for 5 years. Although a self-identifying introvert, he is a regular commentator on a broad array of topics and has contributed opinion and reportage to among others, the Sunday Times, BBC, MTV, Sunday Independent, City Press, Talk Radio 702, Mail & Guardian and GQ India. He is a Non-Executive Director (and former Creative & Strategy Director) at award-winning purpose-driven youth content agency Livity Africa. He came into prominence as a young writer and editor at the dearly departed influential youth culture title YMag.
